The Evolution Cover Control model (#74031) offers the extra assurance of covered operation. This unit features Magnetic CoverStart Activation so the disposer will not activate until the cover goes on.

It has a 40oz. stainless steel grind chamber and grind components and contains a 3/4 HP Dura Drive induction motor. The Dura Drive motor is a powerful, heavy duty motor designed and manufactured by InSinkErator ensuring high performance and long life.

high-priced But Worth It : InSinkErator Evolution Cover Control 3/4 HP Household Food Waste Disposer

The only mystery I had installing this stock was with the distance of the sleeve on the sink flange. It was difficult to install the C clamp with the sleeve being so short. They make a longer one but it was not included in the kit. (This was noted in the factory instructions inside the box) I called the firm and they offered to ship me one at no charge. It arrived some days later. But, in the interim, I was able to get it installed using the included flange although there was barely enough clearance to install the control magnetic sensor unit. They unmistakably should add the longer flange to the kit or at least advertise that the longer flange might be needed on some thicker bottomed sinks.

That issue aside, the unit works great. It's quiet and effective. I extremely suggest this product.
